VideoGamesNewYork is an independent retro video game retailer located in Manhattan’s East Village. With over 20 years of history and a deeply loyal community, its current visual identity falls short of capturing the brand’s distinctive story or cultural significance.
Drawing inspiration from video game references and the graffiti elements found in VGNY’s existing logo, this redesign establishes a stronger and more cohesive visual identity system that better represents VGNY’s mission to preserve gaming history and empower gaming culture through community.
