Life is a Game
Life is a Game
“Life is a Game” is a zine I designed and illustrated, inspired by the kids' menus in restaurants I loved as a child. It includes quizzes and games with sarcastic themes, aiming to unveil socially constructed prejudices such as sexism, racism, and homophobia to children. As a society, we often undermine children’s ability to understand and recognize these issues in the name of protecting their innocence.
My goal is to underscore how children's perception of gender, sexuality, and race is shaped by hegemonic societal values, and ultimately to resist and subvert the formation of these problematic beliefs.
